Hiking up north
Saturday was a much needed rest-day. It was spent with Husband, the MythTV Box & Scott Bakula circa 1989. (Quantum Leap is my new-old favourite show. Who knew Quantum Physicists could be so HOT!)
Sunday, we decided to actually do something. We packed up in the morning, had breakfast with the family and drove up to the NE AZ, E of Payson, and went hiking along the rim, and then over to Woods Canyon Lake. I had never been there before, and it was so beautiful. Took some pictures, hung out with the man and the pup, had great conversations and came back feeling like a million bucks.

Back to the grind now, have a few projects I'm working on.

found you thru a google blog alert (on Bakula)
never thought i'd see Bakula and mythTV in the same posting.
I've had my myth since July of 04 (and the Scott crush since early 94)
I also thought Enchanted was wonderful (and usually I won't go *near* a Disney movie)
Nice pix. Wasn't able to catch when you are going to Vegas (my mouse wasn't working), but Scott will be there sometime soon (I really should know when but I've forgotten, it's on my website) -- Trek convention. Creation charges an arm and a leg to get his autograph, if you are into such. I prefer a hug after a charity performance for free (plus the cost of airfare).
My favorite pic of me with Scott:
from 2005
It's nice to meet you!
I'm so bummed I missed Scott! I LOVE LOVE LOVE him. He's so badass. I hope I get to meet him one day! He's making me into a 26 year old fan girl!
That's a great picture of you and him!
There are some reports from his appearance (things he said, one picture) at the Scott Bakula Fan Forum if you're interested. My experience with Scott is the more your hear about him, the more you like him. He's a good guy. :-)
He's doing a Quantum Leap Con next spring (and a pilot for series on TNT at the moment)
In the meantime, I have some nice mythTV searches for him, if you want them (I noticed that in some series he's been in, Tribune Media stops listing his name in the description field, and you have to make a cast search), also their Murphy Btown listings don't seem to have any descriptions at all (so i just set it to record any Nickeoleon (or anyone) might air. (I had them all on my old DVR before hard drive #1 died and my brother the linux guru wasn'table to fix it (lesson: don't use LVM)
