Tonight, I'm flying to Montreal to spend Christmas with the family.. so next time I write, it'll be from literally across the continent. You can expect an overload of photographs with each post.
In fact, the next two weeks look like this:
Tonight, leave for Montreal
Sat Dec 29 - Fly Back
Sun Dec 30 - To Los Angeles
Wed Jan 2 - Back to Phoenix.
Look at me all jetsetting!! Off to get ready!!
Yesterday was my last day at the publishing company I have been with all year. It's definitely bittersweet, but good things are on the horizon. Between the travel business, freelance writing, web design and marketing, I can't wait to have my life back. I don't have to sit in my car two hours a day, I don't have to attempt to make things work with people who just aren't willing to learn or listen. I don't have to know what to say to which client, and I don't have to change the lazy guy's printer ink.
I'm free again.
It comes at a nice time, as I was planning on putting in my resignation on January 2nd anyhow.
And today started out just perfectly. I got up at 7, let the dog out, fed him, got a cup of tea ready and came to my computer, turned on JohnJay & Rich, and started planning out my day, which will consist of getting my Jeep, going to lunch with my awesome friend, getting my hair dyed and watching Ron Paul on Glenn Beck (a big deal if you're following all this).
Some people aren't cut out to be employees.. to be submissive and do what they're told. Some people are meant to blaze their own trail, with hard work, dedication, sacrifice and risk.
I now know which one I am.
BJs makes a GOOD beer.. and wine.. and pizza..... and...

...it went VERY well.
SO very stoked!
