I know, I know. Apologies are futile at this point when it comes to my lack of blogging. I have been spending a lot of my time with Nick and focusing on work. I've got a few freelance options going on right now, and basically live in front of a computer. I have my work review on Friday, and I'll be spending tonight prepping for it, once I'm done at the gym.
Okay, life is spent in front of a computer and at the gym.
I don't have anything of major consequence to report other than a few more in-laws have packed up and joined the Army. Daniel and Kayla are officially on their way to basic training, leaving just Jess and Jena here in town. I got a chance to see them both last week at a going away party, but I didn't really get to talk to them.
I do have plenty of pictures to upload, so as soon as I get that gig RAM stick into my home PC, I'll be able to get them up. Resizing at 256 is just painful.
I did spend some time Saturday getting my hair done. It is now considerably short (grr...) and dark chocolate brown, about as close to my natural color as you can get (for those of you who knew me 10 years ago when I actually HAD my natural color), it's quite the shock. Another thing I need to post pictures of.
Misssing the family everyday.. got worse since I went and had to come back. I don't think I'm a Montrealer at heart anymore, but I definetely do miss the East Coast. It's gorgeous, the architechture is amazing. As far as travel goes, I'm planning on the weekend of Labour Day to be spent in Sedona with Nick, Ry and Diana, and I can't wait. Lord knows the weather will be amazing, and with any luck, I'll be able to do some writing and some photography.
In October, I will be spending the weekend in Los Angeles at a concert, and then shopping. With any luck, we can stop by the beach as well.
November might hold another weekend trip to Texas to visit Jared at the Army base, and December looks good for the family to come to spend Christmas here. If they don't get their passports in time, I might go back. Montreal at Christmas, with snow (with any luck, as it's been green for some time now) is something amazing.
Heh, this post makes my life sound 1000x more fabulous than it is, I promise.
Okay, back to work.
